Welcome
to the public homepage of Troop 820. Troop 820 was organized in 1969, so we have been in existance for over 50 years! Troop 820 is a Troop for boys and girls! We have been selected to participate in Scouting America's pilot program for co-ed troops. We are sponsored by St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Chapel Hill, NC. We meet Thursday evenings from 7:30-9:00 p.m.
at St. Thomas More School,
920 Carmichael Street in Chapel Hill. The last Thursday includes Board of Reviews.
Our programming includes monthly campouts, Summer Camp, service projects, merit badge classes, and lots of fun. We are currently actively recruiting youth soon entering or in middle school. Our Scouts come from all parts of Chapel Hill, and some from Hillsborough, Durham and Pittsboro. Please send an email (below) or fill out an online application with the link on the right.
